Art Auction, Fine Dining and Entertainment Evening at the One and Only Hotel and Spa- Cape Town on Saturday 8th February 2020.

Join us for our second Annual Art Auction which will take place during Africa’s Largest Art Fair run by Investec. The event will be held in the ballroom of the One and Only Hotel and Spa in Cape Town. The evening will consist of a 3 course fine dining experience, Entertainment, as well as a Latin Dance performance by Paradiso Dance Company. There will be a diverse range of Artwork and Sculptures up for auction by Internationally renowned and Up and coming Local South African Artists. We will also have some one of a kind experiences on offer.  

Tickets are now on sale for R560pp. Spaces to this exclusive event are extremely limited therefore we are accepting prebookings which you can request via email: givingisliving@savara.co.za

 If you purchase art during the auction the cost of your ticket will be refunded. This does not include the silent art bidding, only live auction pieces will be eligible for the refund.  

The Funds raised from the art auction will go towards our two main projects, Kennels for Canines and Movement for Mutts. These projects involve providing kennels and blankets for dogs without shelter as well as unchaining them by installing a runner or erecting a fence to allow them freedom of movement. As part of our Giving is Living initiative we strive to help all animal welfares in need. Aside from our Kennels and Unchaining project where we will be teaming up with other animal welfare organizations all over cape town we have also decided to include a new beneficiary to receive a portion of the funds from the auction. 

This beneficiary is ‘Namaste Horses’ run by Telana Lezar, who rescues abused and neglected horses, rehabilitates them and pairs them with victims of abuse or mentally challenged individuals who can heal through the power of equine assisted therapy.

If you cannot attend the event but would like to place an absentee bid you can contact us for a catalogue and bidding form from the 1stJan 2020. All absentee bidding forms must be sent in by the 14thFeb 2020. Bidding forms can also be sent to you should you wish to attend but remain anonymous during the live auctions. Please contact us for more information if you are interested in these options.
